This is one of those teas that you get because it is cheap and you really want tea. I mostly have bought it for making iced tea because you can make a really decent iced tea with this brand. Sadly it is not the best hot. As a hot tea it is pretty flavorless and boring.

Not a fan. Brews up black and very quickly. Not good hot but palatable over ice. - Salada is cheap and easy to come by. Decent over ice.

Salada's original blend appears to be weak to us, as though they put less tea in the bags. We used it for years and years. But it no longer has a robust flavor or aroma in your cup, let alone a second cup. While visiting Canada recently we affirmed this criticism while enjoying Canada's version of a cup of tea. Upon returning home we set out to find a new brand, one that will deliver what Salada use to offer.

Deep mahogany/orange with reddish hues. Floral nose is also earthy and delivers hints of wet leaves and spice. Tastes pungent and tannic. Very earthy with just a hint of fruitiness towards the end. Not as balanced as I'd like, but overall good. My daily drinking tea for drinking in large quantities.
