↑About Salada
Salada brand of tea only available in tea bags. Salada is known for green tea, including fruit flavored teas and other flavored teas, although it also sells a few black and white teas as well. Salada is owned by Redco Foods, which also owns Red Rose Tea. Redco is owned by Teekanne GmbH.
Salada experiments a fair amount with new products; its flavored teas and white teas have changed considerably through the years, although it also has retained a stable core of teas, including their pure green and black tea, both caffeinated and decaf.

Salada is an affordable choice for a decaf green tea and is widely available in supermarkets, but it has a bitter aftertaste with an almost chemical overtone. The aroma is acceptable. I would suggest a different brand if you can find it.

Overbrewing does turn it a bit bitter, so be sure not to leave the bag in excessively. I still have more of the box, so I may update this entry if my opinion changes after a few tries.

This is another decaf bagged tea that is neither offensive nor pleasant. It is, in a word, generic.

A sample from the Philadelphia Coffee and Tea Festival. Thank you, Salada, for providing me with many samples. This one surprised me; I don't think of Salada as a brand that I normally like, but I always approach teas with an open mind, and I'm glad I did because I really liked this tea.

Decaffeinated Antioxidant Green Tea
Style: Wellness Tea / Medicinal Tea – Region: ?????Jan. 2nd, 2014
I don't like (or recommend) eating or drinking antioxidant supplemented products because there is some scientific evidence that they may be harmful to consume, in contrast to whole foods and drinks which are naturally rich in antioxidants. It's the same reason I don't believe in taking vitamin pills. So I wouldn't dr...
