Very affordable for a white tea.
Aroma is slightly herbaceous, with a suggestion of caramel, coffee grounds, and a slight smokiness. Overall character is warm and rich.
Too much astringency and bitterness for my tastes; I wonder however if I brewed it with water that was too hot. I only brewed this tea once.
Although I often like stronger white teas, I would rather pay a little more for a smoother tea with less astringency. Foojoy's tea bags are still inexpensive, and I find them smoother. I prefer Ten Ren's to both these brands, but Ten Ren's tea bags are significantly pricier. There are really not many contenders for white tea in this price range, so it's hard for me to know what to compare this one to.
