I love Shang tea. It's probably the best tea shop that you can buy from in the Midwest. This particular tea though- is for a very particular kind of person. It has an incredibly potent and bitter taste to it if you steep it like a normal tea. You have to make sure and use boiling water, extra amounts of the tea, and only steep for 10-20 seconds at a time. You'll get maybe 10 steeps/16oz out of the tea, but I still feel that the grassy taste must be acquired.
However, if you're feeling brave, I highly recommend you add a spoonful of honey to your cup. It will instantly mellow the bitter taste and brighten up the flavors. When prepared this way, it can be a fantastic choice.
