This tea smells like leaves, no herb or aroma sticks out as being prominent, it is just dried leaves. It smells like nature! Sadly this means it does not smell like figs or honey which is disappointing. After it is steeped the aroma of honey is present along with herbaceous notes.
The taste is odd, a bit tingly and sweet from the mint and anise, I can detect hints of the other ingredients except figs. I find the lack of figs rather disappointing.
