There's an extremely strong citrus flavor that I feel might not come entirely from the bergamot, since it tastes somewhat different from other earl grey I've tried. (Though I've only tried earl grey tea bags.) This flavor is OK, but the very strong astringency of the tea makes this overwhelming flavor stick in your mouth for a long time, which is kind of unpleasant. It's also a little bit too bitter for my taste, though it has some sweetness. To some degree, it tastes like good tea with a drop or two of citrus dish soap mixed in. I wouldn't say that it's terrible, though.

This tea has a mild fragance of bergamot and flowers. It isnĀ“t one my favorites.

Rebekkah Niles gives this tea a mixed review, commenting that it is extremely easy to overbrew, resulting in an unpleasantly bitter cup. She comments that this tea only tastes good if brewed for a short time and with a lower brewing temperature, and that this tea overall was so finicky that it did not seem worth the effort for her.
