Dry, the aroma of vanilla is strong and it smells kind of like eggnog. The camomile lends a woody smell so that the overall impression is a bit like perfumed potpourri.
The brewing tea smells of honey surrounded by sweet pastry and the impression is of honeyed biscuits. The flavor is strongly vanilla, so much so that it overpowers the camomile. There's a hint of lemon. It's too sweet and as I make my way through the cup, I'm finding it to be more and more unpleasant. Not only has the added vanilla flavoring overpowered the tea, but it has begun to overpower everything in the vicinity. There aren't many teas (herbal or otherwise) that I won't finish, but this was one of them.

I sampled this recently at the house of two of my friends; thank you to my friends Melanie and Irene for letting me try this one.
Aroma is mostly of camomile and vanilla, balanced between the two, with neither dominating. The honey is evident in the aroma, but is relatively subtle. Flavor is mild, muted. Low astringency too.
There is much less of a bitter aftertaste in this tea bag, than in Twinings' pure camomile, or in camomile in general. I can see people liking this because of the more pleasant aftertaste. It's not sweet though, which I actually was quite thankful for.
I think I strongly prefer the pure camomile, even with the bitter aftertaste. I didn't like the vanilla in the aroma...for some reason I did not find it to blend well with the chamomile.
