Just drank a fresh hot cup of...what's it called? Ahh yes, Ginkgo Clarity, right there on that picture to the right. Oh, but I forgot what to say.
Just kidding. Since I'd have to consume the product regularly to evaluate its contribution to enhanced mental acuity, and that's a notoriously tenuous concept for me anyway, I'll focus on the usual variables of aroma, flavor and quality. This was one of the most flavorful and interesting Yogi teas I've had. I know that's not saying much, since most of them have been weirdly to poorly flavored mish-mashes of lengthy lists of unrelated and often wildly different things, reminiscent of what might happen by mixing 23 different brands of shampoos together and evaluating how your hair smells afterward.
This one has 18 ingredients. However, it is pleasantly drinkable regardless of the merits of its wellness claims. Behind gingko leaf (which looks spectacular on a few local trees in the fall!), comes peppermint, licorice, spearmint, and lemongrass, with ginger, tulsi, cinnamon, cardamom, and several fruits I've never heard of, also on the list. The blend of them creates a sweet, smooth, uniquely yet pleasantly smelling and tasting drink, with a vegetal component presumably imparted by the leading ginkgo. Also noted: unmistakable but tolerable astringency.
The aftertaste was sweet and light, mildly minty and licorice-like, a fine finish. This is one "wellness" herbal that doesn't taste like a randomly assembled witches' brew, but instead like the blendmaster put some real thought into drinkability. I'd chug this again, assuming I remember its name.
