Alokozay Tea is a tea company based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and owned by the Alokozay Group, a corporation that is involved in a variety of different businesses and industries.
The company has a long history, but only expanded into offering tea in 2003. It is named for the Alakozai, a tribe of the Pashtun people from Afghanistan. Although a large company with a wide distribution in its region, and although the company has a North American branch, Alokozay Tea is much less well-known in the United States.
The company sells tea bags as well as loose-leaf tea. Teas are sourced from Sri Lanka, India, Kenya, Vietnam, and China. Although the company mostly sells blends, it does sell a few single-origin teas as well.
