My first tasting of this tea was in my gaiwan with about 3 grams of tea and 2 grams of tangerine peel. I did a 5 second rinse then 3 infusions. The aroma was sweet and citrusy to begin with. Very nice tea. I enjoy white teas, especially silver needle, but that can be expensive for daily consumption. This tea, on the other hand, is more affordable and has that distinctly white tea taste. It is not as sweet or smooth as silver needle, but it is nevertheless very light, delicate, and simple.

This is a very vegetal tea, but at the same time, not overwhelmingly so. In a way, it is your stereotypical green tea, that tastes like vegetables and has a slight bitterness to it. If you like green tea, however, it is an excellent everyday tea due to it's very affordable price.
