I like the scent of this tea, both in the tea bag and from the tea itself. Without any sweetener added (my preferred method), the taste was a bit too tanniny, I think. The flavor wasn't exactly bitter, but it wasn't particularly pleasant.

The dry leaf has a very different appearance from other green teas I've tried, including both steamed and pan-fired teas. It makes me wonder if this tea is produced in a very different way.
