I'm not a big fan of Shou Pu-erh, and I think Pu-erh tea bags usually tend to be terrible, but I thought this was a well-executed blend, and I think the ginger blends quite well with the base tea.
The aroma is distinctive. Because it's dried ginger, it reminds me a little more of gingerbread cookies than fresh ginge...

Quite good! Rich and warming, yet zesty and fresh.
I tend to not like most fermented Pu-erh, and I am especially not fond of Pu-erh blends, but the only other blend including fermented Pu-erh that I like is produced by Rishi (their Vanilla mint Pu-erh), so I thought I'd give this one a chance too. And I liked it!

This one just sounded bizarre to me, but when I smelled the dry leaf, it started to make more sense to me, and when I finally tasted it I understood fully! =) It brews a very dark opaque red, just like Rishi describes. The aroma is very complex but in a way I haven't experienced before.
