Brewed Cup of Gingerbread Black Tea from Teavana
In contrast with Teavana's picture of the loose-leaf of this blend, which is visually rich and busy, this photo is extremely minimalistic, showing only two ingredients: cinnamon and apple. As is often the case with Teavana's depictions of brewed cups of tea, the ingredients are not pictured in the form in which they occur in the loose tea blend itself. The apple slices are shown fresh, not dried, and the cinnamon sticks are whole.
The cup is a rich reddish color, probably reflecting the rooibos as a "base" more than black tea; although this blend contains some black tea, rooibos appears higher in the ingredient list and is probably responsible for more of the color of the resulting cup.
