Early Harvest of Leaves for Tie Guan Yin, Long Juan, Anxi, China
This man is holding a bunch of freshly-picked tea shoots and leaves in his hand, for use in Tie Guan Yin production. He is one of the farmers and is harvesting one of the first batches of tea himself by hand, during the early period where most of the leaves are not quite ready. Later, with the harvest in full force, extra workers and machinery will need to be brought in.
