Loose-Leaf Houjicha, Roasted Green Tea from Wegmans
The leaf of this tea is dark due to roasting, not oxidation. Originally this would have been a green tea, probably a bancha. Although the color of the leaf and brewed cup is dark, the flavor is mellow. I liked this tea and recommend reading my review of it.
