Brewed White Tea, Bai Mu Dan in Glass Teapot and Teacup

Glass teacup filled with yellow tea liquor, in front of a glass teapot filled with the same white teaView Full Resolution

This photo shows brewed bai mu dan, or white peony, white tea, in a large glass teapot in the background, with a glass teacup full of the tea, set on a glass saucer, in the foreground.

This variety of tea is intermediate among white teas in price, color, flavor, oxidation level, and caffeine levels. Silver needle is lighter, more expensive, milder in flavor, and more caffeinated. Shou mei is darker, cheaper, bolder-flavored, and less caffeinated.
