Risheehat Organic Darjeeling, First Flush 2013 from Happy Earth Tea
The leaf of this first flush Darjeeling tea is very green in appearance, greener even than some green teas. Although classified as a "black tea", the level of oxidation in this particular tea, reflected in both the color of the dry leaf and the brewed cup, is closer to that of a green tea.
All of the teas I sampled from Happy Earth Tea were exquisite and I highly recommend them.
