Xinchang(新昌) is a county in central Zhejiang province, China. It is located within Shaoxing, a prefecture-level city, and is the southeasternmost county within this division.The northwest of the county is flatter and mostly heavily developed for agriculture, and is closer to the urban area of Shengzhou.
