Review of Hubei Province Keemun Ji Hong

Very Good | Fair | Outstanding |
The second Hubei Keemun I've tried, and it is immediately recognizable as a Hubei Keemun: the same aroma of chicken soup, the earthy and fruity Keemun tones weaker and taking a back burner, and a slight usually edginess not present in Anhui Keemuns.
Flavor is overall very sweet, there are even some tones of honey in the aroma. Faint, almost imperceptible hint of smokiness.
This is remarkably similar to Rishi's Keemun from Hubei province. I can't say I prefer one to the other. The only difference is that this one is not marked as organic. But it's very similar in price. Given that, I'd prefer to buy from Rishi.
