I can think of at least one less expensive flavored green tea that is better Tazo's Zen. Additionally, there are several other common green teas not far above its price that I feel are very superior. So, although I wont say this is a bad tea, I will say it disappointed me somewhat. I'm probably not apt to buy another box of it unless Tazo reduces its price by a buck or two.

Have you ever tried blending your own green tea with lemongrass and spearmint? Those are the two main flavorings in Tazo Zen, and I find they both taste better when fresh. I unfortunately do not have a garden now but my parents do, and when I was growing up we'd make iced tea from spearmint, and also use spearmint for blending in with other things. I find that using fresh, home-grown spearmint is worlds ahead of blends containing a bit of the dried herb. I've made blends at home using straight green tea (loose leaf) and lemongrass and spearmint, and they come out amazing...very refreshing, hot or iced.
