This is a very wonderful tea, reasonably priced (about $4 per ounce on their website at the date of this review) and having appeal to both tea newbies and veterans alike. I like it better brewed for slightly shorter times than those recommended by Rishi, which seems to eliminate any bitterness and enhance the complexity.
There is a nice malty, clean & fresh briskness that lets you know this tea comes from the Yunnan Province of China--with subtle notes of cocoa and pepper that add to the taste profile. It is equally successful as an iced tea, and is a great tea to accompany meals or snacks.
For a fuller, richer and more malty brew, I agree with Alex Zorach that Rishi's Ancient Golden Yunnan is a good place to start tasting. It has a bit more natural sweetness and is also reasonably priced.
