I was expecting the taste of this Darjeeling tea to be quite bitter, however, it was refreshing. This tea was great value and even better than expected, the taste is refreshing and the aroma is not too strong and bitter like most black teas, nor too sweet. I would recommend this tea if you're looking for a tea which isn't too sweet, but a tea which also has a nice flavour and is refreshing.

Hello, and welcome to RateTea!
I think I've tried this before but I can't remember it enough it to review it...I think I have a tea bag sitting somewhere in my collection, from a trade I made recently, so perhaps I can try it again and review it.
I do think in general that Darjeeling is often less bitter than most black teas. Have you tried many other Darjeeling tea bags? I like loose-leaf best, but I have had good experiences with Darjeeling teabags from Jackson and Piccadilly, and Harney and Sons, and I think my favorite in a tea bag is from Ahmad Tea...a bit tricky to find but definitely worth buying if you ever see it for sale. Oh, and Hampstead tea also had a good one...again that's mostly a UK company and I haven't seen it for sale often in the US.
