The aroma is mild: you've got to put your nose pretty close to smell anything, and you don't get a whole lot even when you do. But, fear not, it does have some aroma. And that is "mild black tea," right out of central casting.
Low tannins, low bitterness, low astringency, low anything else that makes black tea unpleasant at times: this is a mild tea. But mild isn't bad. In this case, mild is good. If you're in the mood for a simple, calming, and unobtrusive tea, then this organic assam is ready for action.

Hello and welcome to RateTea, and thank you for your first review!
This tea sounds interesting because it doesn't sound typical for an Assam, I think of them as very robust, powerful teas that are sometimes tending towards harsh. I have been drinking a lot of Assam recently, from the Mangalam garden, I often like to drink more in winter.
Let me know if you have any questions about the website or about tea! I look forward to reading more of your reviews!
