Very GoodGoodReasonable

My daughter came back from London with this tea packaged in little cubic tins featuring buses and other London sights. As such, my "value" rating is lower than it could be because she paid a tourist premium at a souvenir shop. I'd buy this without hesitation for normal American store prices.

One of the better loose-leaf black teas I've had. When steeped for a long time, as I tend to do, it doesn't turn excessively bitter, but still retains a moderately strong foretaste that I expect from a robust English-branded black. Rich, can taste bergamot in the background.

It's funny, I've seen many different loose-leaf Ahmad Teas for sale, but never this one in any of the stores where I've seen it for sale.

I usually find Ahmad Tea for sale in middle-eastern stores and other ethnic food stores, in large (1-pound) containers which are usually well under $10.

I definitely recommend buying some of the other loose-leaf teas, if you have the opportunity. They're exceptionally reasonably priced and they can hold their own, quality-wise, with some much pricier teas that I've had from other companies. My favorite is their Ceylon Tea, and I think that one has a similar character to English Breakfast teas. I also like the Kalami Assam and Ceylon OPA a lot, pretty much all their teas though I've found consistently good.

Just noticed this recommendation-and thanks! My wife since has obtained a small tin of their Earl Grey loose-leaf tea. I'll have to test-drive a few cups and report on that one.
