Overall, this is a very decent tea.
The smell is very nice but is just like a typical black tea.
The flavor is very nice and is almost like a less malty Irish breakfast tea with cocoa notes. The tea is naturally sweet and also very smooth and creamy. I re-steep this tea 4 times(western brewing) using less than 3 grams(about 3 pearls.) with 8 oz cups. And i think this is where the tea shines. The reason I didn't rate the tea higher is not because it is expensive for what you get, but because there are better black dragon pearls out there. I like the teavivre.com version better, and it only costs 12$ for 3.5 ounces compared to 19 for 3 ounces.

I really love TeaVivre for Chinese teas. The only downside of them relative to Adagio that I see is, because they ship from China, shipping tends to be more, so you need to buy a little bit more from them before it gets worthwhile. But if you're buying $50 or more I find they have great prices. Adagio seems to be more of an all-purpose / general tea retailer, whereas TeaVivre really focuses on Chinese teas.
I also have consistently liked the quality of their teas. Just about all the teas I've tried from them have been very "true to the style", i.e. if it's a type of tea I am familiar with, their example of it is like what I'd expect, and also a good example of it.

Here in the US at least shipping is only 3.90 which isn't bad at all.
