Solid Assam, with a woody flavor and some ironic tannins, but still smooth. Certainly worth the bargain price.

In my experience, Halmari is a great tea garden. I also have had really good CTC teas from Assam at great prices.

I tend to really like these inexpensive "Season's Picks" teas from Upton. The only sad thing is that they go out of stock so when I find a great deal, I have to enjoy it while it lasts.

Thanks for your comments, Alex. I recently came across 2 from Halmari - the other (from Taylor's of Harrogate) was very good imo. I'll keep my eye out for more. (-:

Are you selling these overpriced teapots? I am not interested.

You are posting this in the wrong place, I think. This is a review of a specific tea. It is not a general discussion of tea related issues. Have you tried Reddit?

I really apologize, this user has (partly) outsmarted our spam filters twice now. I've banned them twice and deleted their comments but they've been persistent. I am planning on an overhaul of the spam filtering for next week and I'm thinking of screening comments from new users to prevent this!
