Half-litre pot at home. Pours nearly clear nut brown with no sediment. Clear aroma of Rooibos tea, with pronounced notes of walnuts and touches of maple syrup. Sweetish flavour of Rooibos and maple syrup, with notes of walnuts and touches of black tea and hints of caramel. Smooth palate, leaving nutty notes and touches of black tea. This tea is a blend of black and Rooibos, and a good one of a kind. With its long-lasting flavour and a captivating aroma, it makes a perfect drink on a cold day. TeaGschwendner advertises it as Canadian to the core. I don't know. I have been to Canada, but this tea does not particularly remind me of the country. Except, perhaps, that both are beautiful. Fair price (€5.30 per 100 g). The only drawback I can think of is the fact that the nutty notes become quite overwhelming from the third cup on, deafening the maple syrup and Rooibos nuances. Therefore, I would recommend brewing small portions (up to half a litre) or sharing it quickly with friends at the table.
