Half-litre pot at home. Pours nearly clear copper brown with no sediment. Clear aroma of black tea leaves, with very subtle hints of orange. Bitterish flavour of pure black tea, with very mild floral hints. Complex and lingering palate, both creamy and slightly astringent, with mild acidic hints. A smooth drink, best enjoyed in its pure form, although it goes really well with a gentle touch of sugar (a little less than half a tsp), too. The leaves are small and curled and range in colour from chestnut brown to black. My first tea from Malawi, and I must say I am certainly not disappointed. Fair price (42 DKK per 100 g).

This looks like the type of tea I would like a lot. I tend to like African teas a lot, but most of them I've tried are from Kenya, with some from Tanzania and a few from Rwanda. I have only ever tried one from Malawi and it was quite good but was more broken than this, a lower grade. It was quite good for the grade it was though.
I wish these teas were more available in the West.
