Half-litre pot at home, made from small curly very dark brown leaves of black tea and small pieces of dried apple and almonds. Pours clear amber (first cup) with no sediment. Clear aroma of dried apples and cinnamon, with notes of almonds and touches of black tea. Sweetish onset of apples and caramel, with touches of almonds, giving way to bitter notes of black tea and spicy cinnamon touches, the latter becoming increasingly pronounced in the aftertaste. Somewhat astringent palate, with a bitter and spicy aftertaste of black tea and cinnamon, complemented by hints of fruit. A potent and tasty tea, good with cake or other sweet dessert but enjoyable on its own, too. Not expensive (DKK 38 per 100 g). Grows more and more spicy with each sip, just like Miss Marple's investigations.
