Half-litre pot at home, made from fine black tea leaves mixed with sunflower petals and tiny pieces of caramelised Indian mango. Pours clear copper brown (against white china), with nonsediment. Clear aroma of black tea (most probably Assam), with distinct notes of mango and mild floral touches. Bitter flavour of black tea, with notes of mango and very mild touches of sugar. Astringent palate with and aftertaste of black tea and citric notes, as well as smooth, delicate touches of fruit. I like mango tea a lot in general, and this one is rather simple and clean. Not aggressively fruity and yet the touches of mango are clearly felt, although only in the background. Definitely a fair price (€4.90 per 100 g).
