ExcellentGoodGood Value

Half-litre pot at home, made from a mixture fine very dark brown and black curled Assam and Ceylon leaves and small pieces of cocoa, all sprinkled generously with whiskey aroma. Pours clear copper brown (against white china) with no sediment. Intense aroma of whiskey cream, with touches of black tea and notes of cocoa. Bitterish and barrellike flavour of whiskey, with mild, sweet notes of fudge and touches of black tea leaves and cocoa. Relatively smooth, fudgy palate, turning gradually more and more astringent with black tea and whisky notes. Well-balanced and definitely enjoyable - it is the closest to a tea equivalent of good Irish coffee I have ever had. Fair price (€5.70 per 100 g).
