Half-litre pot at home, made from a truly impressive mixture of dried pieces of pear and apple, hibiscus, safflower and calendula blossom, sweet blackberry leaves, rosehip shells, lemon balm, and vanilla - not a single leaf of tea, though. Pours clear amber (against white china) with no sediment. Intense aroma of vanilla and fruit, the pear being clearly the dominant one, but it is too complicated for me to describe and analyse it down to the smallest detail; I can smell some leaves, probably those of blackberries, but the various kinds of blossom elude my olfactory attention. Sweet flavour of pears and ripe apples, complemented by touches of vanilla and rosehip and hints of leaves. Smooth palate with a sweet, fruity aftertaste with floral touches. Complex and delicious, although I seldom invest in pure fruit blends. Now I regret I did not buy more. Fair price at first sight (€5.60 per 100 g) but actually it is not very cost efficient, as it takes 20 g of the loose leaves to brew a litre of tea.
