One litre pot at home, made from a mixture of hibiscus blossom, pieces of apple, almonds, and rosehip as well as cinnamon and rooibos, all emitting an enchanting winter scent. Pours slightly hazy brownish dark red (against white china) with no sediment. Intense and seductive aroma of apples and cinnamon, with notes of almonds and touches of rosehip. Pronounced dry flavour of tart apples and hibiscus, counterbalanced by sweet notes of cinnamon and almonds and mild touches of Rooibos. Lingering dry palate, with an aftertaste of Rooibos and cinnamon. A delicious drink, especially on a long autumn evening. Reasonably affordable at first sight (€4.20 per 100 g) but definitely not cost efficient. The tea company recommends 25 g mixture to 1 litre of water. This makes a cup quite expensive then. However, as the suggested brewing time is of a rather wide interval (5-10 minutes), I chose to brew my tea long (10 minutes) but use "only" 20 g of the mixture. This was enough to get the full flavour of the mixture.
