Half-litre pot at home, made from a sample included in the tea company's Advent Tea Calendar (2020) and consisting of a mixture of pieces of cinnamon, cloves, ginger, cardamom, and black pepper. Pours clear orangeish straw (against white china) with negligible sediment. Clear aroma of cinnamon and cloves, with notes of ginger. Spicy and sweetish notes of cinnamon and ginger, with touches of cloves and cardamom. Rough and spicy - but by no means aggressive - palate. Well, it is one of the very few spice-only mixtures I have tried, but it certainly deserves praise. Unpretentious and nice. I had it without milk (which I never add to my tea) or sugar (which it doesn't need), so I disregarded the tea company's recommendation, but I do not regret I did. Reasonable price, given the context (ca. €0.42 per 1 sample in the collection).
