Half-litre pot at home (as Erkältungszeit), made from a sample included in the tea company's Advent Tea Calendar (2020) and consisting of leaves of Moldavian balm, ribgrass, thyme, and sage, as well as the blossom of elderflower and mallow - all of them organic. Pours clear olive greenish amber (against white china) with no sediment. Intense aroma of herbs, especially thyme and sage, with notes of balm and ribgrass. Herbal flavour of the same ingredients with sweetish notes. Lingering aftertaste of thyme and sage. Well, fortunately I am not ill right now, but I certainly believe that this mixture can alleviate the symptoms of the common cold. I will remember to have some stocked up for the hard times. Quite enjoyable as a herbal mixture if you're into it. Expensive - or at least it looks the part, both as part of the collection (ca. €0.42 per 1 sample in the collection) and in loose weight (€11.20 per 100 g) but quite cost-effective.
