One-litre pot at home, made from a mixture of black tea leaves, cocoa nibs and pieces of vanilla, all sprinkled with flavouring. Pours slightly hazy dark brown (against white china) with negligible sediment. Clear aroma of cocoa and vanilla, with notes of black tea and malty touches. Sweetish flavour of vanilla, with roasty notes of cocoa and leafy and malty touches of black tea (Assam?). Mildly astringent palate with an aftertaste of cream. A decent, tasty and well-balanced dessert tea. Reasonable price, too (€5.40 per 100 g).
