Half-litre pot at home, made from a sample received at the outlet in Flensburg and containing wiry leaves of black tea and roasted South American coffee beans. Pours clear dark amber with no sediment. Clear aroma of black tea leaves (Assam?), with malty notes and touches of coffee. Bitter flavour of black tea, with roasty notes of coffee and touches of malt. Bitter, leafy, spicy and roasty aftertaste resting on a mildly astringent palate. Tastes like coffee made with tea. Ingenious. Extraordinary. Delicious. The treat is quite expensive (€15.40 per 100 g) but definitely a good one.
