Here's another Mighty Leaf blend I got included in a hotel stay, but I'm basing the (way overpriced) value rating on the online cost, over 50¢/bag in 100-ct bulk box! Even for a really good decaf tea, that's probably too steep to steep for most folks, unless one is so desperate for a very good decaf EG that such a large payout is worth the trouble.
For a decaf black tea, this Ceylon tea (per their website) is remarkably good, via both smell and taste. It doesn't have the tinny or metallic tone I get from most other decaf black teas, nor the weak dry-bag aroma. I'm also not getting the "smoky" (as per the description here) nor "deliciously bittersweet" per the parent company's website for this tea. Instead the bergamot leaps out with a creamy, vanilla-like accompaniment that transfers just as smelled, right into the in-cup flavor. Sweetened well, it's almost like a Creamsicle from childhood. I would rank this higher overall than many non-decaf EGs I've had, if not for the exorbitant cost.
