Huh, a black tea made in the style of a green. How 'bout that? The leaves have been hand-rolled in a heated wok so they seem to be like Bi Luo Chun - Green Snail Spring. This lovely gold dust [from the golden bud hairs] covered tea comes from Yunnan Province, China and tastes much like a usual Yunnan, woodsy, a tad spicey, but it has a thick, creaminess to it and almost tastes like there is vanilla in it, with a touch of mellow old wood. There is a bit of piquancy at the end. Very nice twist. I was too lazy to do 8 infusions, so I did 3 longer ones and they were all excellent.
