I opened up my box for a 20 dollar exactly adagio order of 8 teas, and I find not 1, not 2, not 3, but 4 samples! I got a white monkey tea(which I chose at checkout), a rooibos vanilla chai, a Capricorn tin, and this birthday tea. It is so amazing how Adagio sneakily figured out it was my birthday and sent me this blend along with my zodiac sign! The value is obviously a 5 because it is free. And the taste and aroma were pretty good. I noticed lots of cream and caramel, with what I think is a Ceylon base.

When you open up a bag of loose tea and see sprinkles hanging out with the leaves you cannot help but smile. I got a sample of this from Adagio when I ordered a bunch of tea for my birthday...so nice when a company pays attention to these things!
The aroma is so uncannily like a cupcake that I could have been fooled in a blind sniff test.
The taste is very sweet, like cake that has been soaked in tea. You get the sweetness of the various flavors and a mellow taste of the Ceylon. A delicious dessert tea!
