Commercial Description
In the famous poem 'The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock', T.S. Eliot wrote, 'do I dare to eat a peach?' The literary-minded folks at Adagio have taken it upon themselves to provide Mr. Eliot with an answer: no need to eat one. Just steep a cup of our premium Ceylon black tea flavored with sweet peaches. Please, be a peach. Give this tea a try.

This is a fantastic iced tea that kept good flavor on rebrewing - when filling my pitcher I brew a quart with 1 tablespoon + 1 teaspoon, then use the same leaves on a second quart. It smells pleasantly peachy and not artificial at all, and it tastes sweet and a little bitter and astringent. A 3 oz bag has produced many gallons of tea, so despite the cost it's a real bargain since it rebrews so well. It makes a fantastic Arnold Palmer with lemonade but I usually drink it straight without any sweetener. I wish it had a slightly stronger aroma but it's honestly my favorite tea in the world.

I've only had this as iced tea with sugar, not hot.
It took me a while to figure out how to prepare this to my taste. It was far too bitter when steeped cold overnight, and also when steeped in boiling water for 5 minutes (and then cooled). I found that steeping it in boiling water for around 4 minutes is best. To this I added 1/4 cup sugar per quart of tea. I like iced tea pretty sweet, so you might prefer less sugar and maybe more steeping time.
With that preparation, I liked it quite a bit. The peach aroma is very strong and delicious. I feel like maybe the tea and the peach conflict somewhat and don't quite blend perfectly, though. But I'll probably buy it again.
