The aroma is very sweet with notes of burnt sugar and vanilla with a hint of black tea, it very much so smells like tea and candy. Once brewed the aroma becomes quite malty and rich with notes of toffee and creamy sweetness.
The taste is pretty intense tasting almost more like a caramel mochiatto than tea! Strong notes of cream, sugar, caramel, and a slightly bitter nuttiness. I found this tea was great with cream but had no need for sugar since it was very sweet on its own.
