Passionfruit Orange is the second of this company's teas I'm reviewing, from a 3-blend variety pack that also included Pinneapple Strawberry. Like the latter, it punches above its weight, but its weight is still puny enough for this to be just a pleasant, but overly mild tea.
Despite being packaged in wrappers big enough to fit a larger size, the rectangular, stringless bags are only about 2/3 the axial dimensions of more standard-sized bags like Celestial Seasonings or Murchie's. It left me with a bitter taste, not from the tea, but from the idea that a very simple solution to this blend's biggest problem exists: normal quantity. They fill up when wet, but are simply too little.
As for the aroma and flavor, I easily could crank upon each rating a full star with a filled-up, full-sized bag. Both dry-bag and in-cup smell, as well as flavor, were nice, with passionfruit much more present than orange; fortunately, I love all tropical-fruit flavors. I don't know what having a green/black-tea blend does for the taste over simply one or the other, because it's hard to taste the base tea. What little I can pull out actually seems to be green more than black.

I received this teabag from a trade with a friend. I wasn't expecting that much, and honestly, it didn't deliver that much.
The one thing that this tea has going for it is that the flavoring is not overdone: it's subtle, particularly the orange--I almost notice the passionfruit flavoring a bit more.
The base teas are weak and I really don't have much to say about them. Flavor is also weak, mostly a slight tangy quality, especially in the aftertaste.
Disappointing. It could have been that the tea bag I tried wasn't particularly fresh though.
