Generous on the leaf--the teabag reads 2.5 grams, an amount similar to what I'd use for one cup when using loose-leaf tea, and it makes me realize how much a lot of companies skimp on the leaf.

This is a broken-leaf Darjeeling, with smallish pieces of leaf . The leaf is highly heterogeneous in color: many of the leaves are very green, but others are darker.

Aroma is typical of a Darjeeling and fairly complex. Fairly green character overall. Relatively light overall, but with some bite.

Outstanding, without a doubt the best Darjeeling I've had out of a tea bag at the time I had sampled it (I've since tried good tea bag Darjeelings from Hampstead Tea and Harney and Sons). Even though it's broken-leaf, I thought it was a very high-quality tea, more enjoyable than some whole-leaf tea I tried. Very reasonably priced too, although I picked mine up on sale, and the main company site is still down, so I can't say about the normal list price.
