Normally, I’m all for tea that gives me even more energy and pep. That’s right, pep. But tonight I was in the mood for something calmmminggg, something that tasted and smelled relaxing…something that would help me drift off to sleep way earlier than usual. And as I sit here enjoying Lipton’s Bedtime Story Herbal Tea, I know that I’ve met my match.
The first thing you notice when you open the box of tea bags is a very strong and WONDERFUL aroma that’s pure mint. Spearmint leaves is listed as one of the main ingredients, along with chamomile flowers and peppermint leaves. The tea’s remaining ingredients are orange peel, lemon grass, spice, and chicory root, and the mix is completely caffeine-free.
I’m a huge fan of all mint teas, so I have nothing but good things to say about this tea. And I do believe I’ll call it a night before I fall asleep and hit the keyboard with my forehead. Good night!

A gentle and mild herbal tea. Brews an orange color. A hint of sourness but not too much, and not much bitterness either. None of the aromas dominate. In spite of the main ingredient being mint, I don't notice the mint all that much...pretty mellow.
