I know I don't like English blend tea, but this tea was very cheap (regular price €1.40 for 100 g, and it was on a 35% discount) and I figured that since it's loose tea I'll have more control, and it might end up tasting decent.
Wrong.
It tastes and smells like any other cheap English blend from flat teabags: sour and bitter. It tastes a bit better with lots of milk and honey, but mostly because then it's hardly recognisable anymore (whereas a decent Earl Grey sweetened the same way does taste good).
So now I have nearly 100 g of tea I don't like, but sometimes I still get fooled into drinking a cup by the attractive bright green of the bag (a bit different from the one pictured here).
