Not a bad tea. Not bitter at all. The strongest aroma and flavor by far is the honey, which is strong but doesn't come off as fake. I think I catch a hint of the ginseng, but it's hard to detect. The green tea provides more body than flavor.
Since the tea is in fannings (as are all the Republic of Tea bags), it defuses very quickly. However, it holds up to a second steeping better than others by this brand. I got an equally good cup the second time. Still, a short steep time is all that is needed.
If you normally add honey to tea, this one already has you covered. In fact, if the idea of honey tea sounds good to you, this may be your cup. I like honey but this one is almost too much for me.

I tried this at Panera trying to kill time before a movie. I was hesitant because some green teas are horrible, but I figured I could pitch it and get a different kind of tea if I didn't like it. I put two tea bags in a large cup and added two sugar in the raws.
It was too hot and there was no way I was going to be able to enjoy this tea before the movie. We put our teas in the car, it was cold and I knew I was going to drink it cold. This was a pleasant surprise it was delicious cold and I have since bought a tin of 50 from Bed Bath & Beyond of all places and have a picture of it brewing on the counter to put in the fridge later.
The aroma is of honey IMO, but it is not overwhelming.

If you want a really smooth green tea, try this one. The honey really mellows out the green tea, and provides a soothing cup to drink.
The scent while brewing is a nice, sweet honey scent, followed by tangy green tea. It really enticed me to drink it!
For those who don't like green tea because of the harsher side it can have, perhaps you should try this one. The flavor is very smooth, and it provides a little natural sweetness.
