Commercial Description
The delicate, golden leaves of Red Horse black tea yield a fruity, sweet brew that is rich in both flavor and aroma. These small leaves are picked early and then fully oxidized and rolled into their final form. With hints of chocolate and honey, this is a great choice for anyone with a sweet tooth.

Very enjoyable! This is my favorite tea so far from Simply Good Tea (I've only posted two reviews so far but have tried a few more).
The leaf looks a lot like the Bai Lin Gongfu I just tried from Joseph Wesley: well-formed, very wiry, curly leaves with quite a lot of golden-orange tip. Very aromatic, suggesting dried fruit.
The brewed cup smells malty, or more like whole-grain rye, with fruity undertones. The aroma hints at chocolatey tones, but it's just a suggestion. The flavor is mellow and mild, and there is little astringency.
Very enjoyable. I recommend brewing this one on the stronger side, because of its smoothness, and also that its aroma becomes very pleasant if concentrated. It easily brews two cups, but I found it was too weak to brew a third.
Very enjoyable and I think an excellent price for a tea of this quality. The batch from Joseph Wesley did seem a bit more aromatic than this one, but only a bit, and it was over twice the price!
