↑About Assam Tea Company
The Assam Tea Company is a tea company, founded by the husband and wife pair Saunam and Namgay Bhattacharjee, in St. Petersburg, Florida. Saunam Bhattacharjee comes from a family of tea growers in Assam, and initially sold teas from his father's tea garden. The company initially started as bulk importers, selling wholesale tea, but in 2004 started selling directly to the public as well. In 2008, the company relocated to Burnaby, British Columbia, in the Vancouver, Canada area. The US-based operations are based in Bellingham, Washington.
In 2012 the company was forced to restructure because the founder's parents were killed in their tea garden in Assam. The company now works with a sister company, Assam Fresh, based in Assam, which buys tea locally in Assam.
As the name suggests, this company focuses on tea from Assam, India. However, the Assam Tea Company also has a considerable selection of teas from a variety of other regions, including Nepal, Darjeeling, and Japan. The company also carries some unusual offerings, such as white teas from the Assam region.

Yum, what a nice tea. Be sure to brew for just 3 minutes. It is very smooth, with hints of nuts and fruit, along with a good bit of sweetness. There's a little bite at the end to ground it. Very good tea
