↑About Halmari Tea
Halmari Tea is the official brand of tea of Halmari Tea Estate, a tea garden located in Dibrugarh, Assam, India. The estate has been owned and managed by the Daga family, which also manages the Duliabam Tea Estate, since 1913. The estate was not well-known until the 80's, when it started producing higher-quality tea. The company's online operations are even newer, with their website only launched in 2016.
Although this estate's teas are available through a variety of different retailers in the West, the estate also sells tea under its own brand name, both wholesale and retail. The company sells a variety of high-grade orthodox and CTC black teas, and also sells white, oolong, and green teas, and a few blends or flavored teas including masala chai and Earl grey.
